Day Camp at Wanakee!
Come to Wanakee United Methodist Center for exciting day camp adventures in the heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region. Enjoy swimming and boating on Lake Pemigewasset, field games, arts and crafts and nature explorations. Each week has a different exciting theme as we explore camping in God's creation.
All of this led by our caring well-trained Wanakee staff.
Grades completed: K-6
Dates: June 27 - August 19, 2011
Days/Times: Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $95 per week or $20 per day. Lunch included. Ask about family discounts!
Weekly Themes
Session 1: Trees and Bees — explore the natural world from the big to the small. June 27-July 1
Session 2: Pioneering — explore history at Wanakee by playing games and doing activities from 150 years ago! July 4-8
Session 3: Creative Crafts — enjoy art and crafts? This camp is for you. July 11-15
Session 4: Animal Adventures — spend time learning about the animals at camp and in the Lakes region. July 18-22
Session 5: Exploration — check out the adventures around camp on treasure hunts. July 25-29
Session 6: Games and More Games — spend extra time learning and playing some new games and sports. August 1-5
Session 7: Circus — spend time as a clown and making balloon animals as we prepare for the Circus. August 8-12
Session 8: Water, Water, Everywhere — spend extra time getting wet. Swim, boat and play water games. August 15-19
