Our staff is hand-picked, background checked and trained to provide service, leadership, and hospitality.

Staff receive extensive training on proper camper safety, leadership and spiritual growth.

Our counselors and support staff are selected from New England and around the world to create the best quality leadership team possible, giving you the best safe, fun, Christian experience of your life!

Prayer by a Staff Member

Dear Lord,

You brought me here to Wanakee.

You opened the door to lead me to my faith, each day my faith grows a little stronger making my life better, because of your love.

Whilst sitting thinking upon this rock I look around and see 12 glowing sparks growing, becoming stronger in themselves, helping each other along the way.

They are becoming one team, with your love and guidance. New friendships have been formed, some will last forever.

I thank you Lord for bringing me here. As the wind blows through the trees, all that was wrong passes by, and new hope flutters in my heart.

This new spark will begin to grow day by day; as you are inside of me, I am inside of you forever. Amen.
