Junior High Leader In Training (L.I.T)

Description

Spend a week at Wanakee growing your leadership skills, confidence, and independence! Junior High Leader In Training (L.I.T.) is designed as a stepping stone to our two-week Leader in Training program, offering campers the chance to explore the foundations of leadership in a fun, supportive environment.

Throughout the week, participants will take part in team-building activities, learn communication and problem-solving skills, and discover what it means to be a positive role model. Campers will also complete the American Red Cross Babysitter Training course, led by a certified instructor, gaining practical tools for caring for children and managing real-world responsibilities—all while enjoying favorite Wanakee traditions.

Please note: The cost of the Red Cross course is included in the camp fee. Certification is based on successful completion of all course requirements and is not guaranteed.
