Lifeguard Training Camp

Description

Make a splash this summer while earning your American Red Cross Lifeguard certification! Campers will train with a certified instructor through the Red Cross blended learning Lifeguarding course, gaining vital skills in rescue, CPR, and water safety. At the end of the session, Wanakee will help connect newly certified lifeguards with local employers for seasonal opportunities.

Please note: Acceptance into the program depends on successful completion of the in-person pre-course exam in June and the online portion of the blended learning course prior to arrival. Certification fees are included in the camp cost. Certification is not guaranteed and depends on successful completion of all course requirements, including the final written exam and skills assessment.
