Summer at Wanakee includes dozens of overnight summer programs for children of all grades and ages over 7 weeks. There is truly something for every camper at Wanakee.

No matter which camps you choose, we know you or your child will have a safe, fun, and formative experience at Wanakee, lead by amazing role models among once-in-a-lifetime friends.

Summer Camp Activities

Wanakee offers many varying events for all ages; each day differs depending upon the event.

Because of our unique small-group focus on relationships, you live, work, play, and pray with your friends in your site.

Depending upon age and the event you registered for, activities may also include drama practice, ropes course, canoeing or row-boating, music practice, rock climbing, crafts, travel trips, and more.

Wanakee games are non-competitive to better facilitate relationships and teamwork.

Pricing

We know that families make real sacrifices to send their children to camp. Thanks to our generous donors, Wanakee is able to absorb increased operating costs to keep our prices level with 2025 rates, ensuring camp remains accessible. The true cost of a week of camp is $1065, but through the faithful support of our community, every camper at Wanakee benefits from a $175 subsidy – making camp possible for more families this summer.

In 2026, all full week camp programs cost $890 and half week programs, You N’ Me and Family Camp, cost $445 per participant aged 4-adult. Family Camp for our youngest campers aged 0-3 costs $175. Day Camp costs $390/week. Our 2 week Leader In Training (L.I.T.) program costs a total of $890.

At Wanakee, we remain deeply committed to ensuring that every child can access the camp experience, regardless of financial need. Thanks to our generous donors, Wanakee’s Campership program was able to make summer camp a reality for more families than ever before in 2025. Our Campership application is built into our registration software and is available now to every family after signing up for camp. Please don’t hesitate to contact the office with questions. Rec Hall

A seasonal building that sleeps 23 in single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. The Rec Hall has 4 bathrooms and showers, with a large place for gathering.

Cabins

Available in May, June, and September, our rustic cabins sleep 6-8 people each and are on the hill across the street from main camp. Bring your stove, cook over the fire, or schedule food service in the dining hall. Don’t forget your flashlight!

Wanakee's facility is available year-round to church, civic and nonprofit groups.

Nestled in the White Mountain foothills, Wanakee is located outside Meredith, NH in the northern Lakes Region.

Wanakee's 227 acres, located on 270-acre Lake Pemigewasset, has beautiful wooded mountain trails and main camp open spaces. This is a favorite beautiful spiritual place in the hills. See Wanakee's trail map for an overview.

Camp Forms

Please use our registration portal to complete and submit your camp forms, including health records, a record of a physical dated within 2 years, and waivers.

New Hampshire requires campers to have physical exams within two years prior to arriving at camp. Signatures of parent/guardian and physician are required. You can use our HCP authorization form or a standard school/camp physical verification form.
